After Harry Ferran’s death in 1993, Ferran’s owner, Dolph Marmetschke, took over operations then bought Ferran Services & Contracting, Inc. in 2000. With strong leadership, we’ve continued to grow and prosper, holding onto the very best of our past while becoming a powerhouse in each of our chosen industries. In June of 2007, Ferran opened its new headquarters, a building that has been touted as one of the most iconic of Orlando’s skyline. With a new corporate culture and a dedication to always strive for the highest performance standards, Ferran has continued to flourish throughout the economic highs and downturns of the past decade.

As a primary contractor for our local Utility Companies for decades, Ferran created a Building Sciences Division and positioned ourselves as “problem solvers” in terms of both comfort and efficiency. Adding Window Film to our family of services was a natural evolution for us. We set out to offer our clients three things; the best product, the most knowledgeable specialists, and outstanding craftsmanship in the flat glass industry.

To fulfill the first, we immediately earned a coveted partnership with 3M Window Film. We’re a 3M Authorized Premier Dealer. Next, we brought the most experienced specialist we could find onboard. Finally, we’ve spent the past decade educating ourselves while honing our installation team’s craftsmanship. Meeting and exceeding all of these goals, we established Window Film, under our Building Sciences Group, as its own Division of Services at Ferran.

Our Window Film Division has had tremendous success with residences, commercial buildings, and schools in the Central Florida and Volusia areas. Our clients come to us fed up with comfort issues (heat/glare), with safety, security, or privacy concerns, and often looking for the financial benefit of improving their home or buildings’ efficiency. Our Team of Window Film Specialists has the experience and knowledge to provide a unique solution and 3M has a film (decorative, security, solar…) which can address each home or business’s needs.
